Default East Yorkshire?

Hi, picked this up with some other badges, what is it? It seems a strange construction and the title is very thin and bendy, thanks in advance Mike

West Riding regiment but never seen a badge constructed without brazing like this. Finish looks odd as well. Could this be a `mint` badge? Looks like an officers badge with the finish but simply does not have the quality of construction. The fixing of the scroll to the main body of the badge does not look to be robust enough for daily use so strongly suspect this is a non-regimental display badge.

Not sure but I thought Birmingham Mint badges were all with sliders ? And again didn’t think West Riding was in that set ?

Gerard,
You are probably right, I’m not familiar with the whole set. It just looks like the finish is similar.
Kind regards Chay

The DWR is not in the Birmingham Mint set which indeed do all have sliders.
