Unidentified transfers/decals - Possibly Italian
Identification please on these transfers/decals for vehicles and/or sign boards. Both were acquired amongst recognisable British Army items. See

The second one has a very Roman flavour - wreath and lightining bolts, but the bird looks like a Caracara, the South Ameircan version of a Secretary Bird, so I'm going to stick my neck out and say 'fantasy piece'. The bird in the first example is gey queer as well, IMO.

Peter,
Thank you, both are quite large measuring around 200mm x 150mm. The backing of the grey bird is marked 'FasCal 900 Marking Film'. it has been suggested that one or both might be from the armed forces of Italy. Tim

That would explain the Roman symbols and, at the risk of sounding clever after the fact, the style of heraldry does look more European than British.
