It's not regular military and with Bon Accord then you are looking at a badge connected to Aberdeen tramways

- look at the inspectors cap badge.

It is an Aberdeen City Police cap badge. However, the King's crown from the top of it is missing. Its not the tram Inspectors badge. That badge does not have the ornate bit on top of the shield.

On the police badge the area between the crown and the top of the shield, where the ornamental part is, was non-voided, so somebody has done a tidy job on that ornamental part.
