Thank you Alan!
I was worried about it at first but internet images show only brooched examples and they display the hardware removed that this one has still intact! Oh I have a question on this badge it must surely be an officers badge? Kind regards Chay |

The Hall Marked Liverpool Pals badges were given to all - Private to Colonel.
I had thought that the this one was given out similarly ???? |

I also thought that they were presented to the first volunteers, all ranks as in the Liverpool Pals ?? Lovely badge by the way, you’ve had some good finds lately

Thank you all,
I’m very fortunate finding badges at the moment I’m always looking locally for them. I usually collect KOYLI or Yorkshire badges oh and Canadian and Africa and the list goes on! Kind regards Chay |

Something seems to have happened to the hallmarks, the SG is clear but the marks appear unreadable, unless it's just the photo?

Hi Bill,
Yes they are not the most clear! I’m not going to attempt to clean the area for better photos. If you look at other known originals they show unclear hallmarks as well. But they are all dated 1915! Kind regards Chay |
