Brian,
When Scotland becomes independent, that will be one less British manufacturer.

Peter.

...........and that poses the question, will The Royal Regiment of Scotland remain Royal and will they and any other Scottish units remain as part of the British Army or stand as separate entity?

Question Home Guard

Hi Andy,
I was on the point of buying the R Warwicks MM version of this badge during the last discussion a few weeks ago but luckily took your advice, if you remember and left well alone. I did however contact Dave Seeney who has been collecting R Warwicks for it must be for over 50 Years and in my opinion is the most expert on the Regiment with a wonderful collection. He told me he had never seen a genuine MM R.Warwicks badge but has a genuine Swallow Sidecars badge in his collection, so on this I believe this one does exist, but the MM one is very rare or does not exist at all. Having known Dave for a very good number of Years. This was good enough for me. Can anyone add to this, but hope it adds to the discussion going on at present.
Regards to all George Davies.

I have an interest I Wartime Swallow Sidecars and the Home Guard so I have always found these interesting.

In this case even if I was sure this one was right Its too much for me, but does the "Grove" mark prove this is wrong in any case?

Thanks Alan, I looked up the Grove mark in the "makers marks" section of this site and it says "Note: the authenticity of the "large font" version is disputed. " but it doesn't say fake, so you can confirm that it is?
