Hello Allison,
I am glad to hear (as well as see!) you are well and are still finding things, yes, everything is so very expensive these days, still, never mind, it's only money. Regards Frank |

I would wear a helmet for everything if I could. Has been suggested I should wear the bone dome in the pit lane, but seeing as I can't hear a thing wearing it, I feel it may make me more of a liability than usual.

This is true, although I do have self control. I stopped myself from buying a flight suit today.

I got one at least ten years ago, when I was trying to get poppy from each country that wears them. I also sourced some "standard" South African poppies, but when they turned up they were the same as English poppies. I was later told that they import them from here.

I think it is actually quite nice for the SA Legion to have their poppies made here.

I just wish that I had known before I sourced half a dozen and had them flown in.

I wonder if the ebay sellers, offering Somme poppies at the moment, who state in their descriptions that a percentage of monies from the sale of the poppy concerned will be given to the Royal British Legion, actually are as good as their word?
Perhaps I am being far too cynical? Last edited by Frank Kelley; 04-11-18 at 11:30 AM. |

Not a tabloid that I ever buy, but, I could not help but notice the front page of todays Daily Star, a great shame to see people profiteer at the expense of the RBL.
