Default 2/7th Middlesex regiment combo insignia

Two different sets of combination insignia, badged to the 2/th Btn Middlesex Regiment. A set of the combined !st Division / Middlesex Regt insignia, sewn on KD material, has been evidently stitched on BD sleeves: it looks like the sets were meant to be worn on KD jackets, rather than on BD blouses, though...

The arm title is interesting. The approved issued version simply said "Middlesex" but unofficial versions like yours were quite common for regiments that served in Italy where the official versions were not available.
