Default Falkland Islands Patch

I got this recently from a colleague who is detached to The JSPSU Police Unit at MPA.

Don't know when it was brought in but she got hers about a month ago.

Regards, Bill

I thought I saw it being worn by Signallers down south , maybe it is a generic garrison badge or HQ badge then ? or do you think Falklands - JSPSU (Joint Service Police Support Unit) ?

Certainly not there in 1989-1990.

She is on the Joint Service Police and Security Unit down there and they have just got them. The whole station is wearing them now so may be direction of CBFSAI.

I know a lot of overseas signal units wear this type of Tri-Service badge. It certainly wasn't worn in FI in 2010 when I was last there.

Regards, Bill

Bill,
Thanks for that clarification, i recall the use of the emblem 2006 outside the Comms building and although maybe not the same patch (nice by the way), similar worn in 2007-09 by signallers. Regards
