7th Hussars Victorian to good to be true?
Dear Forum
Would value your opinion on this one out of a small collection recently acquired this is the only one I am unsure about. It is nice quality actually better than the photo lugged east and west but the gilding is very fresh. So dodgy copy or minty sleeper? Thanks for your opinions in advance. Paul |

Hi Paul,
I'm not qualified to give an opinion but I bet the first person who might know, would ask for a photo of the reverse or, does it have vent holes behind the cypher ??? Dave. Hi David, we must have hit the submit button together........................psychic or what, innit ????? Last edited by davec2; 10-12-11 at 05:30 PM. |

Why fuss if it's a copy? It's still a nice looking badge.

Something says no, tbh the cypher looks not crisp enough.... but maybe it's my monitor, or eyes

Paul,
without even seeing the back, I would say 100% that it's a copy. The font is wrong, the "O" too rounded and the detail to the Arms of the crown and central cypher ain't too hot either! Andy |
