help wanted
I received these badges in a group lot. As I have limited resources for South African badges and these are not illustrated I'm wondering if I could get some help I.D.ing them. I'm just assuming they are South African. thanks in advance Jim p.s. the cap badge is actually blackened as the flash lightened up the picture.

They are South African and are WW2 vintage. The 1st Reserve Brigade was raised early in WW2 as a Lines of Communication unit and was formed from a number of separate battalions. Those without their own specific battalion cap badge wore the badge of the Brigade.
Hope that helps OC14 |
