Hello - I don't see anything unusual in detached bugle/regiment titles - most, if not all, light infantry regiments used this type of shoulder title, some utilising backplates, some not. Of course, it is always nice to see authentic combination titles - regular or tf - especially the latter. Unfortunate, therefore, that one of the most active restrike artists has turned to these as the latest money making scam. It becomes increasingly important to be aware of the different forms of brazing at both high and low temperature in the hope of avoiding modern reproductions.
