Superb photo, thanks for sharing.
Are they RHA ball buttons also?
Is this the unit with their own cap badge, just the officers in bronze? The gilding metal ones are fake?

Chris

Great image, sticking my neck out, the cap badge looks to be the standard RA .
Tony.

Only officers wore the badge with their Warwickshire title on it. Other ranks badges were not made.

Best wishes

Shoulder title worn by members of the Warwickshire Battery, in the 1st South Midland Mounted Brigade.

I was told of it from the late Norman Litchfield, speaking to him personally and reinforced on Page 236 of his book, "The Territorial Artillery 1908- 1988".

I also discussed it with the late Rod Flood who also was of the same opinion.

To date I have not seen any Warwick RHA cap badges that appear genuine other than the OSD in bronze and a Gilt version, both of which I have and both of which are constructed in the same unusual manner.

best wishes

No sorry.

They are too rare to risk the fakers copying their method of construction.

best wishes

My grandmother's uncle Frank Hudson, Warwickshire Royal Horse Artillery.
The 1914 Star should not have the clasp.
