1st O.T.B.R Signals 1945

Arrived recently with another picture that I think is also Signals. An interesting picture with the instructors names and a range of headgear being worn including coloured FS caps and GS caps as well as metal and plastic badges. Some appear to have the old style Royal Corps of Signals titles.

1st Operators Training Battalion:

In September 1939 1st Operators Training Battalion was formed with four companies. Its staff comprised mainly Territorial augmented by Reservists, Regulars and Militiamen.

Located at Catterick I believe.
