Merry Christmas to all and especially those members that have served in Afghanistan this year. Looks like that campaign will be almost drawn to a close before 2014 for the majority. Not a bad thing in my opinion.

Regarding the forum, it exists because of the generosity of those that choose to contribute. I would therefore like to particularly thank those that share information on here, and I'm a beneficiary myself by avoiding a few more pitfalls this year. I'm sure some of the newer collectors on here who have gained will feel the same.

Best wishes to all and fingers crossed for less rain (what crazy weather?) and good heath in 2013 and beyond.

Thanks Mike.

Here it's a White Christmas and I would be happy with rain. I don't have to scoop rain. The future will be filled, as it always is, by happiness and tears. Endure the tears. May the happy part, in some small measure, consist of finding one or more pieces to add to a collection.

My best to all for a rewarding and joyful new year.

Don

Red face Here is to a better 2013.

Hope all have had a Merry Christmas,

Caught best wave of the day with kids watching and dumped rather nastily into the sand. Separated my right AC shoulder joint and it hurt and still does. Not a great start to holidays with 3 hours in casualty but as my Mum said "could have been taken by a shark". Arm in sling for 12 weeks and not happy so think some badge time earned. Stay tuned will post with vengeance typing lefty.

Hope some had a badge or book for being good this year - I scored Lone Pine and Gallipoli VC tomes.

Best to all, cheers Dean.
