Default Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all on the Forum - unless you don't believe in Santa Claus, in which case I'll say Happy Holidays! (Never thought I'd hear myself say that.)

We got 30cm of snow here in Ottawa yesterday, and there's more in the air. It's also going to be very cold (around -17C) over Christmas. A good time to snuggle up with a good military book and a glass or two of malt Scotch. And if I can still see straight after that, to catalogue and photograph my badge collection. A New Year's resolution is to actually create some albums.

Good collecting! David

Default My turn to write Merry Christmas

Christmas greetings one and all.

A very merry and pleasant Christmas to one and all and a hope that the New year brings good badges, items you desire, an increase in knowledge, good health and equally as important, enduring friendships both existing and new wherever we are in the world.

A thank you to all that I have inherited knowledge from and who have enlightened me on several matters.

Thank you to Mike and the Moderators, (good name for a band), for allowing me to stay and for maintaining this excellent site.

(Just like the Oscars ai'n't it).................I love that Glenmorangie stuff.

Best wishes to all

Fatherofthree.........next year, (hopefully) to become Grandfatheroftwo.

I for once will be straight forward, uninventive and factual. Happy Christmas to all of you out there.
I am making two New Year's resolutions.
1) Not to be less daft
2) To consider selling most of my collection and starting someting else (I fancy just silver gilts and enamels) as the cost of East Surrey stuff is becoming exhorbitant now I have the basics.
Good luck with the twins(?) Brian and Happy Christmas to all of you out there on the forum, those I know and those I do not.
Matti

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all

My Christmas running around is complete, I can now put my feet up and have a nice pint of Hertfordshire ale (or more ). As I write this my mother and children are happily singing Christmas songs, oblivious to the fact that they sound like a load of cats fighting in an alley

It has been a real pleasure to make new friends and I hope to make many more next year

All the best,

Andy
