I dont think I have asked this question on this Forum before, but according to the Territorial Year Book ( first year of issue- possibly the only issue ) there is listed for the Units of the County of london, The Kings Colonials Yeomanry and it is stated "The regiment has a squadron at Liverpool".
Does anyone have any further information about this squadron espcially the location ?? One of the members of the Liverpool Scottish Captain R.J. McKinnel elisted in King Edwards Horse when WW1 broke out presumably the Liverpool squadron, and later transfered to the "Scottish". Interestingly both the Lancahire Hussars and the Duke of Lancasters Own Yeomanry also had a presence in Liverpool pre WW1. Any info gratfully recieved P.B.
