Default Need Some Help From The Button Experts....

I've recently acquired a very large assortment of buttons (2000 or more, just to give an idea of the scale !). Most of the military ones I'm fine with. There are some that I have no idea about and would welcome any assistance in identifying them. For the most part buttons aren't my thing so am disposing of the majority of them (for the sake of transparency).
For identification please:-

1) Hollow back gilt button with old English script "D E" (although I might be misreading the letters - looks a bit like a hunt button ?
2) Chrome M & D M S (possibly transport related)
3) Gilt, hollow back button with initials "C V W C" ...no idea !
4)Very nice, officer's quality gilt button "M A R" above a scroll reading "Subito", my instincts tell me it might be something like a National Motor Reserve type VTC unit ?
5) White metal button with block letter "E K" ... no idea
6) Brass button with three old English script letters (can't even identify the letters and no back marks to help with any cluse either !

Any assistance appreciated

Paul
