Default Unidentified returned Australian PoW badge.

Attached is a scan of a cloth badge I recently picked up, but cannot identify. It measures 2”x 2” (5.5 x 5.5 cm).

The seller believed it had been worn by returned Australian prisoners of war from Japan.

Does anyone who knows more about it please?

Thanks, Stephen

Only that one was sold on eBay a couple of months ago, described as being what you state.
I think that there was an explanation of the symbolism of the design, the encircling chain etc.
