JP, the centre badge is a glengarry for the 37th Middlesex (Bloomsbury) Rifle Vols, worn from about 1860-1880.

A really nice genuine badge, probably worth about £75 possibly a bit more.

The third badge is interesting.... is it Victorian? Looks like a Viking longboat represented in the centre?

Since 2013 i have never see the owner of the badge ( and i dont know is name , he dont know my name , he dont know where i leave now( i m retired since 6 month) and i dont know where he leave.....:-(.......)

After 3 years i imagine i will never see him. So if somebody is interested by the badges , i can sell them.

Cheers

Jp

Merci voltigeur

In fact, The Punjab Regiment, Indian Army, still carries the ship on its badge, some 5 or 6 amalgamations and name changes after the original 'Coast Regiment' of sepoys earned it. It always causes comment too, just because it's not a tiger, an elephant or a kirpan!
