Cavalry or Yeomanry Formations sign on MkII RAC helmet

Hello gentlemen, I have recently acquired a 1945 dated Mk II Steel RAC Helmet, emblazoned with a yellow/maroon/pale blue formation sign. I guess is either cavalry or yeomanry: any hints? thank you for your kind help and all the best, L.
