Royal Norfolk GM titles

In his book Westlake shows photos of two different sizes of ROYAL/ NORFOLK shoulder title (fig 835 & 836)

Please can anyone tell me the dimensions of these titles? I have a size but don't know which version it is.

Hi Stephen,

I have only the one title ROYAL/NORFOLK which measures 49mm x 25mm approx. I think it is Westlake 835.

Sorry I only have Westlake 835 (the larger version?) it has hexagonal lugs.

1⅛ h x 1⅞ w letters 13/32 h.

Mark, if I've got this right, in metric your badges is very similar size: 29x48mm. (or has my CSE maths let me down again?).

I'm beginning to wonder if two distinct sizes actually exist!

I only use metric measurements for modern badges. I have another that is only 1" high. They are now back in their box.

Hi all, have been and measured approx 30 pairs, here’s the result
One is 26mm by 48mm and is very sharply detailed
The rest are all 27 mm by 49 mm

It appears there may be no great difference between the two Churchill variations after all.
