Default INNISKILLING bullion

What have I got here?

I don't think this is a Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers collar badge as it doesn't look like anything in Colin Churchill's book.

So, is it connected to The Inniskillings (6th Dragoons)? It certainly looks like the design of metal arm badge as shown by Linnaker & Dine. They mention an embroidered badge but don't picture it. Might this be similar?

My badge measures 49mm x 42mm, which is slightly larger than the metal arm badges.

Suggestions please.

Stephen.

It looks like a 6th Dragoons officers cap badge to me.

Hoot,

Thanks. Can you date it, or point me towards any references please?

Stephen.

Stephen, when I was a collector I had two of them, both purchased as 6th Dragoons officers bullion cap badges, now long gone. You will find similar ones in the forum gallery.
