Hertfordshire Regiment interesting?
I spotted this image on google, thought it may be of interest, note the T HERTS collar titles worn as collars. https://goo.gl/images/4Bf3xO
Cheers Tony.

I have seen a studio portrait of a Herts man wearing shoulder titles as a collar badges, I thought I actually owned it, but thus far I can't find it

Thanks for taking the time to post that Tony.
There are quite a few published images of the Hertfordshire Regiment wearing shoulder titles on the collar during the Great War. There was a brief discussion on this practice in this thread http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...ad.php?t=32198 Last edited by Nozzer; 11-06-17 at 10:01 PM. Reason: Insert correct link! HERTFORDSHIRE REGIMENT
Can anyone tell me what this approximately 2" badge is? It almost looks like trench art, i.e. not original?

I would say that its a cap badge made into a sweetheart brooch.
