Default Brass 4/7 dragoons

Hi. I have been coming across brass [ g/m] badges to the 4/7 DG did they wear these badges please anyone.or are they fakes.

Sorry. found my answer white only. the DETTINGTON flash was this worn by the 4th 7th please

do you mean "REGIMENTAL" flash?

if this is the flash you mean then yes it was worn by the 4th /7th Royal Dragoon Guards. In Dress Distinctions of the 4th /7th Royal Dragoon Guards Cox notes "The regimental flash was worn by all ranks in battle dress upon the left sleeve below the formation sign"... " Up until recently (the book was published in 1961) the flash was machine made in silken thread but is now machine made of worsted thread."

Yes thats the badge, someone told me it was called Dettingen flash, is there such a thing do you know { should have googled it ]

Something is in the back of my head which says the White Horse of Hanover was the distinction for Dettigen.
