Second Lieutenant John Dickinson. 3rd Battalion, attached to 13th Battalion, Royal Scots. Death: 28 August 1917 Killed in action Western Front. Adopted son of George Dickinson, of Westholme, Bolton-on-Dearne, Rotherham. Notice the grenade on right arm.
