Although the shield is fairly crude I think its an interesting period piece - showing that the red/white 7 Armd Div vehicle sign carried on into the post-War BAOR together with the unit designation painted on the white bar above the RAC marking. It certainly made life easy for SOXMIS! Here's a 7 Armd Div Signal Regt Jeep of about the same period - red/white/red Jerboa. Mike

That's a really solid looking hard-top conversion on that Jeep, I've never seen one like it before.
