Default HMS/M TORBAY - POSSIBLY?

I have been searching for a nice WW2 submariner badge and seek member opinions on the attached. I wonder if it is a T Class submarine, and if so, whether it could be HMS/M Torbay. I appreciate some artists licence may be exercised in producing the badges but would welcome advice.
Any thoughts appreciated
I notice most submarine badges are white metal, some being die stamped. This is brass and I wondered if it was unusual.
Regards
Mike

Wow - That is some gun on the M Class!

As you say - difficult to pin down, and no doubt 'stylised' to some extent.
