WW2 home service queensland volunteer netting and camouflage manufacturers badge
hi all
a rare little item. WW2 home service queensland volunteer netting and camouflage manufacturers badge. the central device with the N on it is the representation of the Large flat hardwood shuttle (needle) for making camouflage netting. One end has been shaped to a point, just above which is a 11-12 cm long cutout with an integral central pin. The other end has been notched to a depth of approximately 2 cm. unusual but important part of our war history. enjoy BC |
