Default Royal Canadian Air Cadets shoulder titles

I have two questions about these badges :

Is it possible to date them ? I don't know the Canadair pattern

Is it possible to find both on the same RCAF battledress ?

Thank you

The half-moon style shown, that type was worn between 1962-1978.
The other example (which many different styles types were used) date from 1954-1962.

There is even a good website for 588 that shows lots of old photos. I have referenced them to show the different types of cadet uniforms.

Cadets would most certainly not be authorized to wear both types at the same time. Most squadrons when the new type of badges were being issued, would still issue out the old style to use up supply inventories.

I have heard a bilingual squadrons accidentally getting English shoulder flashes sent to them. Some cadets would want to wear one of each. They supposedly did this though it was not officially authorized.
