Canadian Band Mystery Badge

Hi all, another show buy today is thie odd Canadian band badge. I say "Canadian" due to the maple leaf. It looks like there is some raised letters under the lyre applique, possibly a C ending with a S. CADETS? I checked Francois' excellent website ArmyCadetHistory.com but can't find a similar badge in the web-site. Even the maple leaf design is not there nor is it in any of the Mazeas books. It may be a school band for all I know Any theories out there or does anyone have a similar badge in their own collection?
