I gather your referring to a modern badge? and not a S in a wreath as issued to Scouts prior to WW1?

Default S IN WREATH

The New Zealand Volunteer Force Artillery! Did they ever use the S in Wreath proficiency Badge ?

If so, can you provide a picture or information to backup this claim.

As far as I know the New Zealand Volunteer Force Artillery did not use the S in a Wreath.
The S in a wreath was used by British scouts stationed in India up until 1914, but in England from 1905 the British scouts used the fleur de lis badge.
