Two websites describing the different medals of the world,Europe, Africa and the Middle-East,Asia and the Americas.Both websites are in french but easily to navigate.

Thank you very useful post still can only find the silver 2nd class invalids of war medal in this also.

My gilt medal still iludes full identification

Some bad mistakes in the British section I am trying to identify the following Belgian award to find the criteria as only information on the silver 2nd class appears on line.

The gold invalids medal of

Medal of Recognition of the National Federation of the Mutilated Military and War Wounded (Médaille de Reconnaissance de la Fédération Nationale des Militaires Mutilés et des Invalides de Guerre / Erkentelijkheidsmedaille van het Nationaal Verbond der Verminkte en Invalide
