Default RAF OFFICERS PEAK CAP BADGE PERIOD?

Would like to know what period this rugby ball shaped peak cap badge would fall under and is it RAF or commonwealth say like Rhodesian pattern?
Thanks in advance.

I would think circa 1920's it very clearly has considerable age and quite a nice example too, but, without knowing who it was actually worn by, it remains something you will think about.
