What a brilliant thread this is - fantastic set of badges, and titles, what a great forum we have here - all the contributions being so helpful and informative. A real pleasure to read and learn from shared research such as this ... I learned something new today ... The title below The Norfolk Yeomanry had me confused - KORR - I did not realise it was known as 'King's Own Royal Regiment' ... everyday is a school day ... even as a long toothed very mature student ... https://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/army...oyal-regiment/ Last edited by Mike B; 14-04-22 at 08:00 PM. |

Thanks again Mike - the best way to learn in my experience is to post sets and let others guide you as to what is genuine etc and what to look out for as characteristics of a genuine badge etc. Deciding what to collect is the tricky part!
Here is a 1914 set for the cavalry. Cheers Dean
