Default Senegal Patch
Is this military? If so, is it a general patch for their army? Did they perhaps have a contingent in any UN theatre?
Any info would be welcome.

According to Wikipedia: “Senegal has participated in many international and regional peacekeeping missions... Senegal sent a battalion to the Democratic Republic of Congo to participate in MONUC, the United Nations peacekeeping mission... Senegal also agreed to deploy a United States-trained battalion to Sierra Leone to participate in UNAMSIL, another UN peacekeeping mission.”

Many thanks for that, Graham. As they have participated in overseas engagements, I shall take the patch as being worn by the Senegal Army on these occasions.
