Hi

Is it possible to post a photo? If not, is the "T" joined to "Signal Service" or separate?

Two uses for the "half round" "Signal Service" title were Royal Engineers Signal Service (WW1) but that had RE above (sometimes joined, sometimes separate). "Signal Service" on it's own was also worn in New Zealand.

The "T" obviously suggests Territorial or possibly Telegraph.

David

Hi

It was worn by Territorial Signallers of Divisional Signal Companies & Infantry Brigade Signal Sections in WW1, actually up to 1920.

They come with both attached and separate "T".
