Badges for the CCF in the south east is very very scarce bar Christs Hospital .They all seem to be wearing PWRR badges now.
I was told by the OC CCF Hurstpierrpoint that he is the only person in the unit that wears the badge at present. So it would seem unlikely that any more would be produced. Therefore those in collections are what there is end of.
It would be interesting to see what an anodised Mill Hill,Millfield,Clifton College,Haberdasher Aske or St Benedicts would fetch. Those were the 5 CCF badges i knew of that i never had .

Absolutely staggering.

I have a Millfield and Clifton College as well as a Portsmouth school (another uncommon school found in AA).

At almost 500 for the Hurstpieroint, its all very tempting . . .

All the best gents

Hi Gents,
Great thread, but what I find interesting about this badge is that I have one of these in my collection but it's made by Firmin London!
So, maybe there must have been at least 2 "runs" made of this badge.
Hopefully a few more will turn up in the future?
Colin
