Default Fusilier cap badge ?

Gentlemen
Iím not sure about this one, it looks to have a WW2 style finish?
Can anybody help me with the Regiment and era?
The lugs look like they are substantially made again it looks like Birks construction because of the grey appearance of the solder?
Kind regards Chay

This the cap badge for the Montreal-based Fusiliers Mont-Royal, a commonly found badge, could have been made by William Scully at one time. Worn from the 1930s to mid-1950s.
