Phil,

I think all that praying has paid offIMO the badge looks good I have a few variants on the 10th including one like yours with the two fixing points on the scroll [cant add a pic at the moment will try later] and the blank Albuhera scroll hasan't been played around with which is a good sign a good find

Gerard

Thank you for your reply, good news that this badge is ok, dont see many of these about, and if you do people asking top price, so you want to be happy knowing you have the wright badge for your dollar.
I have another Middlesex badge will post it on the site and can you let me have your view ie good or bad.
cheers again
Phil

Paul
see what you mean regarding overlay, it has an overlay but no sweat holes
the 7-8-9 Middlesex badge has an overlay with two sweath holes
Reagards to the 10th Middlesex haveing no sweat holes to overlay is this course for concern

I might be learning here- so this badge has a white metal coronet on the feathers. Not the usual GM as on other BM Middlesex badges? Is this usual for the badge of the 10th? Regards, Paul.

Here's my 7th,8th and 9th battalions. It also has no overlay to the coronet. I actually think it didn't have one in the first place.

I am lost here mate the 10th badge has the white metal ich dean same as the 7-8-9- badge only differance is that the reverse of the 10 badge does not have any sweat holes unlike that of the 7-8-9
hope that makes any sence,
PHIL

There should a a gilding metal crown at the base of the feathers over the nickel one.

Cheers Keith. Does not look to have ever been one in this case. The white metal crown/coronet does though look to have full detail. Regards, Paul.
