Default Napoleonic Officers GR badge ...can anyone confirm it's use !!

Picked up a lovely Napoleonic GR badge ..has short pin hooks to rear ..so is it off shoulder plate , baldric badge , or cartridge pouch...?? can anyone confirm period worn.
This was found in the US.

Could be horse harness badge. Martingale or Bridle

.....don't believe so mate I think the quality is to high the .pin fittings like this I have never seen on military horse badges . Though I have seen same but longer on shoulder plates ...

Difficult to tell from the photo, but if it is "shaped" (rather than flat), it could be a Tarleton badge. If flat, it might be a pouch or undress sabretache badge. Regards. Jeff

Thanks , I have been googling and yep similiar badges worn on the Tarleton .
There appears a slight trace of gilding and yes it's shaped.
