Default Unknown Collars

Last items in the mystery pile for today, a very nice pair of collars. Can somebody please help me out with what these are?

Thank you
Alli

Alli,

Possibly fashion items with those fittings.

Peter

The blades are lethal, my Schnauzer puppy just grabbed one, she dropped it pretty damn quick. Serves her right though she stole a Grenadier Guards ST last week, thankfully a new one

Are there any words on the strap round the central device, or is it just textured.

The motto 'Always Ready' (Be Prepared).

Was just about to post that the motto is Semper Paratus. No it's just textured.

Cool Collars ID

PB is spot on IMO, these are a fashion item made from base metal, easily broken as I found out on our first meeting.

Thanks Rob. Hope you didn't injure yourself when you broke it, I've just been fiddling with the blades. I'm bleeding

Ha! Yes David that as well. You'll be glad to know I was very brave and didn't need to call an ambulance or anything.

Could be "Cinque Ports" related...... the shield in the middle appears to have half lions half boats..... with a rope coil around.

I don't know, just googling it and it's not come up with anything similar, US coastguard keeps coming up because of the motto. I think it may just be a fashion thing. A vicious fashion thing

I am pretty sure we have had something similar on the Forum before but so far I cannot find any earlier threads.
