Default Australian Army Metal wings

Hi there guys

Thought I would share with you my collection of Australian Army metal brevet. Before you jump down my throat I know some may raise questions. The ones I have put in are to show a representation of all army brevets, but in metal. The Test Flight Engineer is not there because they use the RAAF silver brevet.
Other points of note:
- there was no metal AOP brevet on official issue but I managed to get one from an ex-AOP officer who had it made by a local jeweller but he never wore it officially on army uniform
- The metal AD wing was not an Australian issue but was worn by Australians posted to 55 Coy RASC(AD) during 1961-62 when serving on the Malaya-Thai border
- The metal para wings were never worn by Australians in an official capacity but are just put there to recognise the para side of the Australian Army.

Enjoy

Regards

Doug

Hello Doug,

I'm not qualified to comment on your collection but regardless I'm grateful for you taking the time to share these with us here on the forum.

If nothing else it looks like a lovely display with some nice looking badges, well done.

Cheers, Roy.

Hi Doug,

Maybe include an AOP cloth or bullion wing to represent that? That's what they generally wore.

Thanks Mick

I was trying to keep to the metal theme but you make a good point.
