Default Shoulder titles

Hi all,

I have a question: Is there a layman's way of differentiating a WW1 v WW2 "Australia" shoulder title?

Thanks, Tim

A good question. I have been told that the WW1 titles had more rounded lugs, if you compare enough of them you can see the difference. I probably have dozens of them, not at all rare.

hi Tim
for mine there is no real way other than a manufacturers stamp.
like the rising sun badges, if tiptaft then British made WW1 & if K G Luke then WW2 etc
I think what kingsley mentions re the more rounded lug may indicate ww1 however not all manufacturers in ww1 used those type lugs?

good luck with it
