Default Web sites

Hello Troops

I have asked this question some time ago, but I did not get a single response.

Some members have a web site for selling their badges, would they please put them up on our forum, as I would like to purchase from members.
Regards Terry

Terry,

We have a sales section on the site where members can sell their badges.
If members have a website then they are selling to the www.com rather than giving our members preference.

I can think of one member here who just trades in repro badges and another that has been constantly slagged off for selling fakes.

Is that really what you want ?

regards

Smile Web site(s)

Terry,
I only sell spare badges on the Forum classifieds, not on any other online outlet, all my badges are guaranteed to be originals and if there is any doubt, they are taken off ASAP.

I always give a money back guarantee if anyone is not happy with any purchase and what with the number of eagle eyed members on this forum I would happily buy badges from other forum members which I have done in the past and always been pleased the badge(s) are original.

The forum rules state that no fake badges should be knowingly sold.

I am at present sorting out some of my badges and they will be offered in the classified section. I hope this helps . . !

Rob

There is a good selection of badges on the website I share with a friend: www.militarychest.com

Thank you for looking, Keith

I (nearly) always offer badges I acquire for resale here on the Forum. Buying and selling militaria helps pay for items for my own collection. I try and list items at what I hope are reasonable prices reflecting the saving in fees that would be incurred by selling on E bay ( both E bay and Paypal fees ) or the exorbitant fees that most auction houses charge ( to both sellers and buyers) these days.

P.B.

Recently I bought something from a forum members website - when I received it and in spite of questions I'd asked it was blatantly "not right", the cost of purchase was refunded no quibble but it still cost me about £20 postage.
I've given the benefit of the doubt (not in the sense that I've always known the term in police usage - ie " guilty").
If every item for sale on a forum members website is put up on this forum for vetting OK - if not....... lesson learned.

Many thanks lads for all your info.
I have to say, that all the members who replied are among the ones that I have a great regard for, their knowledge, and assistance with any help that we members have from time to time. From now on I will keep my eye on the Forum classifieds.
Thanks again
Regards Terry

Default web sites.

There are many military cap badge dealers on the militariamart website but the prices asked are in most cases way over the top.

May I respectfully add that I have bought items from most of the above mentioned forum members contributing to this thread and I have found them to be absolutely 'spot on' in every respect. Great items and great service.
