Lancashire Hussars question
I've been asked what cap badge the Lancashire Hussars wore during the Second World War with particular reference to the Battle of Crete. I thought I knew the answer but I'm now wondering if they just wore Royal Artillery badges as opposed to rose on scroll, kk1472.

Sean,
I am pretty sure that after conversion to Artillery in 1920 the Lancashire Hussars wore the R.A. cap badge ( according to Litchfield "The Territorial Artillery " they wore LH white metal rose collar badges on service dress up to 1940 ) P.B.

Yes that confirms what I was thinking, their badge is missing from Andersons 'Cap badges worn in 1939-45'
