Default Scottish Horse enquiry

I've looked through the various past threads on Scottish Horse badges but haven't found this one. It appears to be a GM collar dog with the crown removed, but close inspection suggests it either never had a crown, or the crown was very expertly removed a long time ago. It's 29mm wide x 31mm high. Can anyone shed further light on it, please?

Hi Lettman,

The lack of a crown is not the thing that catches my attention, more so the extra scroll at the bottom.

Very interesting. I'm sure someone will have the answer, but with my limited knowledge I'm stumped.

Cheerio,

Roy
