ID required please
One of six pc's I picked up today, but this one has me stumped. Collars appear to be POW feathers, maybe one of the welsh yeomanry.. post mark is from pentrecourt (pembs) and is addressed to Mr Tom Thomas (yes!) 30 Taff Street Pontypridd and talks about an him being old soldier in S. Africa.

Perhaps a close up of the collar area might help?

I had half a dozen or so, "metal" ones, anod. al. ones, felt backings, plastic backings, collar dogs to match, gave them all away though...........

And it came with another Pembroke yeomanry pc, part of a family lot of pc's from near me in west wales. It also includes Welsh, Welsh #horse & RWF as well as an Aussie. By a strange coincidence I was at Carregwasted earlier today.

Just done a bit of work on that first image and yes... Pembs Yeo. You can see the collars.
