Hi
I'm trying to sort out my collection and came across this badge. Could anyone comment on its authenticity. Many thanks Martyn |

I have little knowledge but from the photo I would guess it may be good. A closer image of the lugs on the back might help.

Martyn,
Pre 1881 glengarry badges are very difficult to date off photos. They have been reproduced for over a 100 years which doesnt help. I havent commented on this badge for that reason, but as you have asked me personally to comment I would lean towards it not being an original based on its appearance, colour and quality. regards
