3 Cdo
Did anyone else notice this - sniped at 10:15:11 am today - £3656.50. Must be close to being a record. The vendor will have been surprised! Mike

I didn't think the photos were clear enough to determine originality. Somebody obviously like it!

I dont know much about SF items and certainly not as much as many on here, BUT, I do know about faked cloth badges and to me this shows all the hallmarks of an age distressed cloth badge, done deliberately to make it look older than it is.
Maybe I'm just to cynical? regards

Considering the massive jump in the last bids (from £205 to £3556) I wonder if the winning bidder decided to put in an exceptionally high 'silly' bid to guarantee he would win, only to find out that another bidder had done exactly the same!
It wouldn't be the first time. Roger |

I have no idea if it is a genuine item or not and it is a good job that we dont all collect the same things but I can only think about of the item(s) I could buy for my collection with that sort of money.

Surely the one recently listed is the same one that sold for £3,656 a few days ago. Did the buyer have second thoughts about the authenticity I wonder.
