Default POLICE PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION

The Police Pensioners Association was a uniformed organisation similar to tne Corps of Commissioners. members were employed by a number of organisations to provide security. In particular a number of football clubs employed PPA members as "pushers" to ensure the maximum numbers of spectators could be crammed into the terraces.

Uniform was similar to the police of the day with a special cap badge.
